Situated on the beautiful coast of the Hurum peninsula is Filtevet latest oasis: Villa Malla! Since the opening in the summer of 2007, Villa Malla has become a popular meeting place for locals and visitors. Many have travelled far to visit us, and our guests include a number of international visitors.
Villa Malla is situated less than an hour south of Norway’s capital, Oslo. Having the Oslo Fjord as its closest neighbor, Villa Malla is easily accessible both by land and sea. Villa Malla also has its own helipad, making it possible for guests to arrive by helicopter.
Villa Malla is not a traditional restaurant. We offer an open space for the public, where everyone is welcome – either to enjoy an exquisite meal, or just to relax with a cold drink in the shade on our terrace. Our beach is also open for anyone who wants to explore the warm waters of the Oslo Fjord.
When the sun sets, we light our Arabic lamps and fire up the fireplace. This creates an indescribable atmosphere that everyone should experience!
Out outdoor areas include to grand terraces. There are several palms on the lower deck, ensuring some shade from the hot, Norwegian sun in summer. All areas are extremely child friendly, and all of Villa Malla is also wheel chair accessible.
Don’t forget that also Villa Malla has a beach on the premises, so all guest should remember to bring their bathing suit! Guest can enter the water from the sandy beach, or jump from the diving platform. There is also installed a ladder at the platform, making it easy to get in and out of the water.
